The whole world is in difficult times right now. Many people are feeling their mental resiliency running down. They report that anxiety and depression that had been under control are now raging.
Does this sound like you or someone you know?
As teachers here at Bhakti House, we know that it’s vital to not let this sense of being run down become the new normal. We use yoga to interrupt that downward spiral and rebuild mental resiliency. Our approach not only rebuilds that mental resiliency but it helps you move forward in life, even during these difficult times.
Our Approach
We use three different approaches and work with you to find the one that fits best depending on your own situation. Here’s a quick overview:
Trauma Focused: This approach re-establishes safety, integrates body and mind and allows you to determine how the past will inform the future. This is a hybrid, modern yoga therapy protocol and primarily uses Yoga Nidra. Typical program 2-6 months.
Physical Focus: This approach begins with familiar yoga postures and integrates meditative practices to create mindfulness. Typical program 6-12 months.
Traditional Focus: This is an integrative approach that encompasses all the features of both the trauma and physical focuses. This approach begins with Yoga Nidra and transitions to posture practices. Typical program 2-12 months.
We can also create a completely customized approach as needed.
